Overall loudness
The target is adjusted toward the reference track's overall level. This can reduce the guesswork involved in comparing a quiet mix with a louder finished track, while still leaving the result available for direct listening before download.
Frequency balance
Broad tonal balance is matched toward the reference, helping a target that feels unusually dark, bright, thin or heavy move closer to the chosen direction. The result depends on how suitable the reference is for the target.
Peak level
Peak amplitude is considered during processing so the mastered result follows the reference more closely. Mastering cannot repair a severely clipped recording, so export a clean target mix with usable headroom whenever possible.
Stereo width
The process also compares the overall stereo image. A reference can guide the target toward a narrower or wider presentation, but it cannot independently reposition instruments that are already combined in the stereo mix.
Original and master comparison
After processing, switch between the original target and the mastered version at approximately the same playback position. Comparing the same musical passage makes changes in tone, level and width easier to judge.
Downloadable output formats
Choose 320 kbps MP3, 16-bit WAV or 24-bit FLAC before submitting. The selected format is used for the processed output, so you can choose a compact listening file or a lossless file for later work.

Choose a well-balanced reference with a related style and arrangement. The tool uses measurable characteristics of that track to guide the target instead of relying only on a text description.
You need a consistent comparison
Level differences can make one version seem better even when its tonal balance is not actually right.
Process the target, then use the built-in original/master switch on the same passage. Listen for vocal clarity, low-end weight, brightness, dynamics and stereo image rather than judging loudness alone.
You are preparing a demo or review version
You need a more coherent listening copy before sharing a demo, testing an arrangement or requesting feedback.
Reference-based mastering can create a useful review version without opening a complex mastering chain. Keep the original mix because mastering is a finishing step and does not replace mix revisions.
You understand what mastering cannot fix
The target contains clipping, strong background noise, buried vocals or an instrument balance that already feels wrong.
Return to the mix first. This tool processes the complete stereo file; it cannot isolate and repair individual tracks. A cleaner, balanced mix gives the reference process better material to work with.
